In this week’s blog post, I’m introducing you to a website I’ve found most helpful in the past couple of years. I began following Zach Bush MD on Instagram & Facebook when I was recovering from surgery. Zach is a triple board certified physician who believes in science, the humanity, and the intelligence of nature to transform our world.
Over the past while, I’ve been able to return to my biology, anatomy, human physiology, and exercise physiology roots to gain fresh perspectives and important educational reminders regarding overall health, wellness, and knowledge on the microbiome and viromes of our bodies. I’ve enjoyed numerous webinars and videos on the importance of air, soil, and water quality on the health of our bodies. I’ve participated in webinars on the importance of sleep in our cycles of body regeneration, nutrition science, and regenerative farming practices. I’ve been introduced to Farmer’s Footprint which is a non-profit catalyzing a regenerative future. They offer a lot of information on regenerative farming practices in the US and in different parts of the world. I highly recommend checking out the documentary Kiss the Ground.
Through the education initiatives on the website, you can explore more health topics in detail such as: cancer, virome, autism, endocrinology, fasting, farming, GMO, and ecology. In this time of competing and often misleading information, it has been great for me to stumble upon someone so willing to share his knowledge and to connect the public with other professionals who care not only about our overall health as a human species, but who also passionate about the health of our planet.
We are all connected. The health of our planet is not separate from us and vice versa. Check out his website in the links above, and discover the wealth of information waiting for you at your fingertips.
In health & wellness,
Kellie
